yesterday, our cat snuck into my room and started destroying things on my desk and spilled my seed starting dome. Luckily those seeds inside were old seeds (purchased somewhere else which I now doubt there viability) and I have new ones that I ordered here about to arrive so I want to make sure i am growing my new seeds in prime conditions. this is my plan, I am going to grow my seeds with a peat perlite mix in a dome which i will put in a warm but not boiling location. Also about how long would it take for my seeds germinate if these seeds were purchased here on this site?

Keep covered containers out of direct sunlight.

If you germinate your seeds in a covered container, be sure to keep that container out of direct sunlight. Warmth is helpful, but direct sunlight can heat the interior of the germination container so much and so quickly that it can bake and kill the seeds.
