I just received my order from Maggie Chen. I got one of her Blue Ribbon/Best in Show B52’s, a King Henry, plus a bonus G14 Rosetted.
I am so excited to watch them grow. They will be outside in a month or so:

Very nice! Those look like big fat rhizomes on two of them so they should be huge this summer

I wonder how big her collection is / was? She is moving from CA to TX so I guess she has a lot to sell. I bought some Sarracenia Scarlet Belle from her. Very nice specimen.

I think she is trying to sell what she can before the move,. I almost ordered the Scarlet Belle myself, but just stuck with the Flytraps.

Is there any genetic difference between the Blue Ribbon B52 and normal B52s?

I asked her the same question, she said they are both B52’s, she just one the Blue Ribbon/Best in Show with that one, she also said the leaves for some reason look nicer. We shall see, the plant she sent me looks in great condition and a nice big size.
