I have an Nep. Izumiae showing up tomorrow, and I’ve read two interesting recommendations for the potting medium. One recommend 100% long stem sphagnum and the other recommended a little bit of orchid bark. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I don't like bark because it can get mushy and rot over time, I use perlite.

I would use a more airy substrate since it’s an epiphyte. Maybe something like 30/30/30 lfsm/cococoir/perlite would be good. Additionally a netted pot would be a nice touch too.
