My local nursery had a few of these planted in what looked like plain garden soil. Maybe one was in peat. I've read this species is tough and easy, but does it need to be repotted with peat and perlite if it is doing well? They look like they might have been there a while. They had several woody stems, several of which looked like older ones and had been trimmed. One I picked up had several growth points, pitchers, and even a pitcher close to opening.

Well if it is in regular garden soil(i'm assuming you mean potting soil) those plants will
die since the cant be in that soil. so they need to be quickly reptter into a proper mix. Also what do you mean by "if it is doing well" I dont get what you mean.

Checked it out when I went to repot. Looks like it is a peat moss mix. Nevermind. Thanks!
