Hi guys I’ve been growing a drosera capensis (sundew) here in the uk and I’ve been feeding it dead flys and cheese and it has few on it but isn’t wrappping around food! Also the leafs seem to point outwards (fold) which is a bit worrying and concerning and moss has been growing around my plant! Could someone please tell me if my plant is healthy and what to do. I’ll put an attachment at the bottom. Anyway, many thanks! :

It looks fine.
It will only expend the energy necessary to capture its prey. If the fly is dead, it has no need to wrap it up.
And, unless your capensis is French, forget about the cheese. I don't remember reading about the vast swarms of cheese bits that permeate South Africa, so it's essentially debris rather than food.

Does that mean if there was a bug moving around on it then it will capture it?

Depends on the bug. I've had them capture a housefly in just the mucilage with no movement on one leaf, not even a tentacle. While the next leaf captures a fungus gnat and wraps one and a half times around it within an hour. However, that's not the measure of health as they'll do what they need to do.
As long as it's green, growing, and boogery, it's fine.

At that stage it looks similar to half of the plants in the world. As it appears to have put out its first two leaves, you should know when the third comes out.
However, did you sow seeds in this pot? Or are you wondering if this is a division?

Even though I have hundred of seedlings now, I still get excited when they are just starting to germinate. It's like having children, but much less costly!!!

Yes, I sowed them into pots (sprinkled. them) and it was all drosera capensis seeds and there were no other seeds.
I had used peat moss and ordinary sand with special carnivorous plant soil all in a ratio. I was thinking the same thing because it looks exactly the same as a normal plant when it’s young!
