I'd like to thank Supercazzola for his latest donation of more paleacea gemmae.
He sent two more packs of about 20 each, so I should be able to split them into four pack total. Seeing as how he's a Commander in the US Space Force, I'm sure the count is accurate.
The gemmae are immediately available to all members, let's get them out into the world. Thanks Supercazzola, for your donation.
To infinity and beyond!

Get a capensis up there in orbit. Would probably thrive. Think of all that natural sunlight.

In all seriousness, I had this “disagreement” with an owner of a store in TX who wants to bring CP in space. In the phase of space-based plant growth chamber technology maturation we are in, plants grown in space will primarily be ones that astronauts can eat. Sure there is enjoyment and pleasure in growing things for a hobby, but on long-duration space flights, getting edible plant based food is probably higher priority than growing a VFT.

I know this is getting way off topic, but give this a read if you’re interested. https://www.theguardian.com/science/20 ... aried-diet We can start a new thread for those who are interested in discussing it more.
