I don't want to revive an old thread. But I happened to notice that you were growing your pygmies in a mix of peat and perlite @MaxVft. I thought you could only grow pygmies in peat and silica sand. How are your plants growing now?

I've grown them in pure LFSM, they are adaptable to a degree.

They're doing great. Peat and perlite works fine for most gemmae, but silica sand can help to reduce algae and bacteria.
