I just got this Ikea terrarium and weather sealed the bottom and tried my hardest to seal it, but there are a few gaps. the substrate is roughly 1/2 peat, 1/4 pearlite, and 1/4 sphagnum moss. I have some home depot grow lights on it. (also have a D.binata, Red onyx VFT, and a couple of nepenthes in there as well). I got the P.primaflora last week and it just got put in there. if temperate ping won’t work will mexican?

A picture always helps. It gives others a visual which leads to better answers to your posts.

That said, without seeing it my first concern would be fumes from the silicone once it gets warm. I might be overthinking, but that is my 2 cents worth.

My bad for assuming it was silicon. I am neither a Ping nor a Nep person so I will let those that are step in.

Anything that requires a dormancy, dry rest, or deep roots, won't do well in there. Meaning, VFTs won't like it, and neither will any temperate pings. You may also have trouble keeping it from being too soggy for the neps, so water with care.

P. emarginata doesn't require any sort of change in moisture levels, so you can plant it with nepenthes, though it may want less light than you have.
