I got the dunecraft set with multiple carnivorous plants (VFTs failed to grow, i do NOT recommend buying the kit) and it says i am suppose to refrigerate the non-VFT seeds for six weeks. This Friday will be my fifth week and i was wondering if i could plant them now instead of waiting. So far, i have a terrarium with soggy moss in it and want to atleast try growing something. I doubt they will actually grow but I want to try. Is 5 weeks enough time to wait, or maybe 4 and a half? And just to make sure, no tap water for these either? I know VFT cant have it and I am guessing these cant either

I usually stratify temperate CP seed (other than Dionaea) for 4 weeks. I'd say 5 weeks should be good enough.
