Happy International Bog Day everybody!

The local university offered a tour of their bog slash Field Station today. This is the first time I've seen CP in-situ.

I saw U. cornuta and one other No-ID aquatic Utric. Sarracenia purpurea was plentiful. Drosera rotundifolia was seen on several Sphagnum patches.

I did not see D. intermedia or D. linearis. I was told it's about a 3 hour soggy hike to see the linearis.

The most amazing thing about this bog is the fact that it's less than 30 miles away from Milwaukee, a 45 minute drive from my home.
