I have this growing as a hitchhiker in my Ping pot from California Carnivores. Is it Utricularia, and, if so, what species?

Yes, that's a utric. It's most likely U. bisquamata (the common purple flower form), which I've gotten as a hitchhiker from CC before. It also may be U. subulata.

Agree. Lots of Utrics can look similar, but considering from CC and leaf shape, most likely bisquamata. Every plant I've gotten from them has had it and it can be hard to remove. Consider it a weed, I do.
