I picked up my first lithops yesterday. I ordered a packet of mixed seeds for $1.50 from Cactus Store to try some seedlings. I hope I can keep these alive. I hope their growing cycle is normal, these look like they're in dormancy and that would be about right for this time of year right?

It's easy to grow Carnivorous plants if you don't stress them by unwanted excessive care

My seeds came today and I planted them. I don't have a bulb to shine on them but I heard bright light helps with germination. It's in the window right now just out of reach of direct sun and if I have the time tomorrow I will pick up a lightbulb for a spare fixture that I have. I will only consider giving it direct sun once the plastic is off.
