I have a few pygmies (I tried last year but they all died pretty young all of a sudden without knowing why).
So I bought again gemmaes on last november and all the varieties made it and are blooming.
I know propagation is easier and faster through gemmaes but I'd like to try to get seeds and maybe hybrids.
I have :
- Spilos
- Scorpioides
- Enodes
- Micrantha
- Allantostigma
- Putchella (white flower red center)
- Australis
- Stelliflora
- Patens
From what I've been reading, depending on the chromosomes numbers, some are not compatbile anyway.
Are there any that I could try to manually polenise ? Patience and obsession are pretty related
