Thanks for all the feedback and advice! I think my current media is alright from what people have responded with so far above. There is a little algae / moss formation, but I heard that happens with sphagnum moss.

Do you think I should do this "slip potting" with my current media (pics are somewhere up above of what my plant currently looks like), or do you think I should completely replace with the new mix of peat moss and perlite?
