I wanted to share some pics of my heliamphora minor, which I managed to successfully pollinate. This is the first time I get a flower from this plant so the whole vibration and pollen collection thing was totally new to me, but it worked!

Here is a pic of the second flower, which is clearly pollinated:
Here's the first flower, which I extracted the pollen from and saved until the second one was ready:
Now I just have to keep from breaking the stalk until the seeds are ready.

My understanding is that like nepenthes, Heliamphora seeds have a very short shelflife. So depending how fresh your seeds were, that may have been part of the problem.

It feels great to see some success. My intention is to attempt to germinate the seeds once they are ready, and give some to a friend who would like to try germination himself. Here's hoping it works!

I'm open to advice and info on seed collection and germination.
