I went to Home Depot because I wanted to try growing orchids. My mom has been into orchids for a long time and grows them well on a windowsill. I heard that orchids take about the same care as Nepenthes in a way, so I said why not.

It came in a small pot with some fake moss as a top dressing, but under it is some sphagnum moss.

Should I repot it? I have orchid bark and sphagnum moss for Nepenthes and am wondering if it needs to be repotted.

Roots look good. I would wait till the blooms have past then yes I would repot it into a good orchid pot with good ventilation. You can use terracotta but I don't like it as the roots can stick to it and make it a huger pane to repot down the road. When picking a pot you want to pick one one to two time the size of the the one it's in. You can even double pot it by putting it in a good plastic pot and the in a terracotta pot. The clay pot will help to hold in moisture and humidity while the plastic keeps the roots safe.
