I have a couple sets of Sarr seeds stratifying in my fridge and I noticed today that one was frozen. The other one, 2 inches away, didn't.
I'm sure they'll be OK, but I'd like confirmation of that if I could. Maybe some reassuring words, a pat on the head.
Thanks.

I think everything will turn out great. If not, we have a seed bank ran by a guy named dean with a great sense of humor. In other news, you may need to defrost your fridge..... isn't your name dean? Uncanny.

I'm in Wisconsin and I don't like to stratify in the fridge so I use the garage. Every year the pots freeze solid for anywhere from a few days to months and I've never had any problems with germination rates unless I started with very old seed.

Thank you for your kind words of support, they make me feel all warm and squishy inside.
I'm making room for some little seedling pots, I'll get them sown next week boosted by this new feeling of confidence.
Thank you.
