Just bought my first orchid, I placed it outside. But what is it though? I'm pretty sure some kind of Zygopetalum.

Phaleonopsis is boring!!

The yellow and brown petals and white lip make me think "Oncidium hybrid". Zygos tend to look chunkier, darker and mostly have a purple lip.

Oncidium x Zygopetalum maybe or (Onc. X Zyg.) x more Onc.

Don't think you can cross zygos with oncidiums. But there certainly could be odontoglossum crossed in with oncidium.

Since you don't know the exact cross, I'd take the middle road for each section of the care sheet.
