Hello :)

I was passed this plant a few days ago, the previous owner had one too many and thought to gift me this one in a terrarium.

I've watered it once since being in my care (less than a week). I read that distilled water was a good idea so thats what I've given it.

It's been in direct sunlight today (indoors)

There doesn't seem to be much dew being produced and the tips are browning plus curling.
In comparison to the other plants my friend had they were full of dew and seemed very healthy.

Any tips/ ideas/ thoughts? this is also the 1st carnivorous plant i've owned. any help is greatly appreciaited

It is likely just acclimating to its new environment. Give it a couple of weeks to see if it deserves back up.

Don't worry about the old leaves.
They may or may not produce dew again, probably not.
Look to your new growth.
That will tell you how the plant likes your growing conditions.
Make any changes needed, based on that.

Good growing,
Mike
