D intermedia temperate seedlings flowering

these di intermedia (temperate) seedlings just germinated this spring and now 2 are flowering is this normal?

Not normal, but not unheard of either.

Any one of a number of factors could be responsible, but your plants appear to be healthy, so I wouldn't worry about it.

I have had plants flower within months (tokaiensis and another natural hybrid). This isn't shocking
