This is my first time that my sarracenia tarnok pitcher plant and my sarracenia scarlet belle will go into dormancy. I've read some topics about some DONT cut off their leaves and just place a bag over them and some do cut the leaves off. Does any form will my plants grow bigger next spring if I cut them off or not? I have a cold porch with some little light coming in so I rather use that then the refrigerator method so I got that part ok but the rest, I'm unsure.

I always cut the dry or dead leaves down in the base of the rhizome after dormancy of all my plants before starting to grow. There is nothing with the cutting of the leaves that depend the growing of the plant - only time. The older, the taller it gets but it depends on the type.

Its a good idea to chop off the dead leaves to reduce chances of any fungus or mould spreading to the plants.
