Correct me if I’m wrong but don’t capensis need less light and slightly less warm temperatures in the winter?

dragons are red, scams are blue, but green is true!
I get that but even some tropical plants experience slightly colder temperatures in the winter .

I know they don’t go through dormancy there is a huge difference between dormancy and experiencing slightly colder temperatures. When I say slightly colder temperatures i mean 50- 60 degrees

In their natural habitat, daylight varies from 10 hours to 14 hours, seasonally.
They are at approximately 32 deg South of the equator,
Temps vary from 91H to 68H and 59L to 42L.

They can grow OK at room temps year round.
They do not need dormancy.
But they will slow growth with colder temps, especially at higher elevations.
Many of mine slow growth when the temps are warmer than the mid 80s.
The closer you can approach their natural conditions, the happier they'll be.

Just my 02¢ worth.
