Hey all,

Just a quick question regarding sundews and fall/winter. It's starting to get colder here in Georgia (7b) all of a sudden. Its like in the 70s during the day and in the 50s at night as we move into fall.

About when/what temperature should I start moving my cape sundew and spatulata indoors and under some growlights, so I don't accidentally kill them, or force them into that not-quite dormancy state? (I forgot the name of it, but I read about it, where sundews kill off all their leaves when it gets too cold)

I think the term you're looking for is brumation. Kinda like an extended nap, but not quite hibernation.
My Capes and similar dews get brought in for the winter when the temps consistently drop down to the low 40's/high 30's. Cool enough for them to slow down, but they still slowly chug along.
