I decided to get some better lights. What do you guys think of these? They're full spectrum, 5000k, 5500 lumen. I bought three so don't tell me they're not good enough. I'll cry. Curse. Break things. I brought most of all my plants in. The heat and dryness was killing them anyway. So hopefully this will do good. I will post some pictures here shortly.

They look Good!. 5000k is a pretty good spectrum to it has a little more red in it than the usual 6500k should help if you want flowers or seed. You will have to give us a pic when you get them running. :D

What lights do you use? Can you link them? I may buy a grow tent shelf thing so I'll need more lights if so. I'm going to take some close ups now to compare.

I'm in the UK but I use 200w 6500k compact fluorescent grow light bulbs like this

200w will give you about 12000 lumens and very little heat perfect for a grow tent or closet. I will be adding a 300w alongside my current as these lights need to be fairly close to the plants so one light will cover about 0.5 square metres my space is 1.2m square so I need another. You can definitely get them in the states they usually come in 130w,200w,300w and occasionally 450w. These are tried and tested and have been used for decades for indoor growing but you may save money on electricity using a modern LED but a good reliable one is pricey but people have had results with cheap ones.
