Congratulations killerplants4realz, winning bid at $118, and thank you to everyone who participated. I will have more D Magnifica available for straight sale or auction in the coming weeks so keep an eye on the board for another opportunity to grab one.

At maturity Drosera magnifica gets very large.
It grows a scrambling stem that can be over 4 feet long.
It is the largest Drosera in the Americas.
The plant is not a rapid grower so all the plants in cultivation are still very young juveniles.

The name Magnifica should be a tip off- it is not a "capensis" you can get from 36 different places.

Read that blog post - this was only discovered 4 yrs ago in Brazil. This is a very unusual Drosera and rare in cultivation and at maturity big and scrambling.

I bought 4 drosera from this seller and he bent over backwards to get me half a dozen pics, info and ship potted as fast as you could say immediately.
