Hi! I’ve been having problems with what I thought were spidermites on my VFTs. I tried spraying strongly with just distilled water & that got rid of the webs but the black spots at the edges won’t come off. They seem to be inside the plant tissue. Please help!

Try using dilute neem oil for prevention, make sure to spray thoroughly but the solution shouldn't be too strong for the plant to handle. Good luck

Looks like spider mites. I would get AVID asap and start spraying them

Mites LOVE VFT's for some reason. Destructive little things. Bayer Advanced 3-in-1 took care of the problem when I had an infestation.
