I think there were a couple in there. They were started for cutting so they put on size pretty quickly. Much quicker than seeds.

It will take a week or two to dew back up. Filiformis really take a beating in shipping. Any new leaves that are unspooling should have dew on them.

I took a closer look, and I can see dew in the new leaves.

It is a cultivar of Drosera filiformis var. floridana and D. tracyii.

From what I read:
Drosera filiformis var. filiformis ‘florida all red’ × filiformis var. Tracyi (anthocyanin-free)

I've found that tracyii isn't necessarily anthocyanin-free. I have a tracyii that produces pink flowers and one that produces white. I'm not sure about the parentage of a Dreamsicle.

[Edit] I just saw the ICPS description so the parent is AF. Good to know.

Are you sure you got a Dreamsicle? That looks like a tracyii to me. The Dreamsicle should have red tipped tenticles and the coil should be orange looking.

Maybe your relative is conning you  My Dreamsicle leaf propagations look like Capensis alba, because of the low lighting...

He gave me the tube where the plant was (still packaged and taped), and inside was a tag that said "Drosera Filiformis 'Dreamsicle'".

Plus, I saw his plant.
