here are 2 hardware store rescues I got last year about this time. so far this spring as you can see they have divided and started to clump. I'm undecided as to whether to let to keep clumping like this or the divide them in the fall. Other than space ...which I am running out of, whats the pros & cons? what do you guys think?

I rather like the look of a large clump of plants. I'd keep them together until you can find more space.
