I have 3 leaf cuttings I want to pot at some point but what should I pot them in?

Would it be best to use a mix of perlite and peat?

Your plants will probably develop roots about 2" long through their first dormancy. If the container they are now in suffices for that kind of root growth I would leave them alone until spring. At that time I would put them in something like a white 24 oz. styrofoam cup. Fill the bottom half of the cup with a 1:1 ratio of peat and silica sand (many people use perlite rather than silica sand). Use long fiber sphagnum moss in the top half of the cup. This works great for me in my climate with my growing techniques but may not be ideal for you.
