I need to distill water for my venus fly trap. I used to keep freshwater fish and have a large amount of bioactive water treatment. For any non freshwater/tropical fish keepers, this removes chlorine and heavy metals from tap water while adding aloe vera.

Is there a chance I could use this to distill water for my venus fly trap as chlorine and heavy metals are removed? Or are these not the minerals that cause root burn? Any help would be appreciated.

These do not remove said chemicals the just make them safe for fish by converting them to a fish safe form. For intense ammonia gets turned into ammonium when using ammo-lock.
