Those were the first pots I used for my flytraps! They work quite well. They're nice and deep and provide an easy way to bottom water without allowing much of it to evaporate.

I'd recommend them for an inexpensive option (the medium sized ones are $5 each if I remember right). The only drawback to them is that they aren't insulated.

I user a cheaper option. When my girlfriend buys icrecream (she is addict to it) i wash the stayrofoam pot, use a cutter to make a hole on the top and put the pot with the plant in it.

The water keeps with a nice temperature and it does not evaporate.
