So, this flower bloomed back in April, and it eventually turned to this. I've read that they swell when they become fertilized, but it's been like this for a while. I never fertilized it by hand and none of my other plants floweredImage

It's possible the bees pollinated it. You won't know for sure until this fall, when the seed pod turns brown and cracks open.

The seeds mature all summer long. The pod dries out and breaks open in the fall. The seeds drop to the ground and cold-stratify over the winter. In spring, they're ready to germinate. Here are a couple good articles on the subject, along with pictures of ripe seed pods:
