Hello,

Today I checked my Capensis seedlings after waiting for almost 4 weeks and I'm happy to see some of them beginning to sprout! I was quite worried that my seeds were not viable because I didn't store them properly.

I had to come in really close just to take photos of them. All the little green seedlings are them:

Good job!
Yeah, those 4 weeks were quite frustrating. I wonder how many will grow? I sprinkled I think over 100 seeds on the soil.

I can’t wait!

There will be many if the germination rate is good. Drosera capensis loses viability slowly, so you should soon see a carnivorous forest of small Droseras. When they get large enough to transplant, you can use forceps and pick out individual plants and plant them into separate containers. Congrats :)
