Will putting bug screen around my venus flytrap block too much sunlight? There are way too many bugs in my backyard and they keep closing all the traps. The net isn’t super dense and the plant gets full sun. Thanks!

sounds like you need more VFTs! and maybe some sarrs.

No, it won't block too much like but it will keep the flytrap from eating which means it will grow a bit more slowly. I agree with @elaineo, you need some Sarracenia to gobble up all those bugs!! They can eat a ton of insects each year.
