Humidity doesn't seem to be an issue for VFTs, as long as they are well watered and not left to dry out but then not left wet eighter. I have my plants the last 5 years or so growing outside year-round from winter to our dry summers. Our humidity can range from its 30s to high 80 but on average it's about 50-60.

I would not advise increasing humidity on the flower stalk. If humidity is too high, plants will form very high on the stalk. Just put them in CP soil, keep the water level pretty high, and ignore. They will strike in 3-6 months.

Good luck!
