I am a sixth grade science teacher in Texas.
I have introduced my class to the world of Carnivorous Plants and we are ready to try to germinate our own and raise them.
Next Year we will have a CP club that will meet after school. The sixth grade science students that are interested in becoming members are learning about these amazing plants now.
We have a sun dew, butter wort, Sarracenia Alta ( was donated by another member), and three varieties of flytraps that are all thriving in our room with the assistance of LED grow lights. When temps warm up, these plants will move outside.
Thanks for your consideration.
P.S. we are looking to try germinating easier varieties to grow this year.
