Very nice Nep Nguyen and a lot of sophisticated methods for seed germination ;) . Back home, there is no such thing as Reverse Osmosis water so what I do is leave a pale of water outside in the sun and I've created a dome that transfers the water evaporating to another container. Instant distilled water!

Best wishes for U, steve!

If the seeds are in a covered, ventilated container (and especially if that container is transparent or translucent) then it's good to keep it out of direct sunlight and in only bright indirect sunlight, to avoid overheating the contents of the germination container, including the seeds of course.

The small-sized gravel in one of your photos looks like it would not be good for Venus Flytraps. It looks like it has too many types of rock that are somewhat soluble (dissolvable) in water and might put too many minerals, dissolved salts, etc. in the water. That could harm any Flytraps that have roots down into the gravel.

For simple germination, no gravel is necessary. Seeds can be germinated on top of pure sphagnum peat moss or a mixture of that and silica sand or perlite, or other materials that others may have tried such as coco-peat or coir, although I have not tried those myself.

Best wishes--
Steve
