I voted snip for the most part, but if your plant is healthy, there's no problem to let it flower.

I voted for snip as well cuz vfts are very slow growers from seed and if you snip you can get another plant.

I like to let it pollinate to get seeds, but I do both whenever.

Is it getting enough light? I have heard that it usually isn't good for a VFT to flower this late in the year, and could be indicative of low light conditions.

I'd snip it.

Snip, unless you have lots of plants and a warm place like a window sill or green house for the spring to extend the growing season.

Well if you already let it flower, go ahead and pollinate. Just toss the seeds into some distilled water if you get some.

I'd pollinate, but that's just me. I love to sow the seed and see what comes up. It takes longer, but you also get many more plants from the seed than you will from planting a flowerstalk.

I'm with Linton here. As long as the plant is healthy, I like getting the seed. Though now I have so many seedlings I'm running out of room for them all!
