Is this the same as silicone sand or can i use silicone sand instead of silica ? thanks

actually, silicone is also know as silica so you can definitely use it

Silicone and silicon are two different things. Silica sand is composed of silicon dioxide (quartz). Silicone is composed of--well, I don't know what, but it's definitely different. :D

i may have the wrong spelling for the sand the sand i have was used for paving ie mono blocks to fill in the gaps between blocks and i have a bag left of the sand , thanks
