Hey all, haven't posted in a while, but I have a question. Does anybody know the scientific name of this specific type of sphagnum moss? I got some from FTS about a year or two ago, and I like how fluffy it looks right now. I want to buy more, but all the sphagnum I see for sale is nothing like the one they sell in the flytrapstore. The ones for sale on amazon and ebay, and pretty much everywhere else is all skinny and long stranded instead of fluffy and full. Anybody know? Thanks in advance!

I wish I knew what it was. I bought this horrible NZ Moss that was all black and had tons of sticks, roots stuff like that in it. I think it was named Mosser Lees moss. Well sorry I can't help you find the name for fts's moss.

I don't know what others contain but Besgrow Spagmoss says it's S. cristatum (except for some S. subnitens in their one "blended" product). So maybe you can compare them?
