No, never.

If they catch food they will digest them fine. They occasionally get a few drops of water in them due to heavy rains, but have lids to prevent it, although there are exceptions like Sarracenia purpurea which have no lids.

If you add water to the pitchers of yours, it will only serve to a) hinder their ability to digest their food since the digestive enzymes they produce will be so diluted, and b) potentially cause the pitchers to topple over and possibly break at the lower stem.
