I was repotting one of my specimens of this clone today and realized I never made a thread on it! A little background-- this exceptional purp purp I bought from Bob Beer's store Indoor Sun Shoppe when I was traveling to Seattle in late 2017/early 2018. Bob told me it originally came from Jerry Addington, another fantastic Western Washington Sarracenia grower and breeder. It came with a label simply saying "purp purp" on it. After growing this plant for a few years, I can say that it reliably produces the largest S. purpurea pitchers in my collection, hence the "Jerry's Giant" name I assigned to it for my own use to keep it separate from the other unlabeled purp clones I grow and for breeding projects. It also seems as this plant is a pretty good hybrid parent, as I got quite a few seeds when I crossed it with some flavas earlier this year.
