Hey guys,

I've been stumbling around a little looking for parts to build a terrarium, but as of now I just don't have the time to build one. I found this after shuffling around Petsmart looking for an aquarium to use for my plants. It's a reptile terrarium but it seems suitable for cps. The only thing I was worried about was the light fixture, I'm not sure if it would work. Let me know what you think.

I think the tank could work. if the lights are compact fluorescent theyd work too but if theyre heat lamps/uv bulbs I dont think theyll be good lights.

Thanks. I think they are heat lights but I guess I could replace them

make sure only flouro lights are used as heats light create unnessacary heat (duh) and have the wrong spectrum

Just go on Kijij or whatever and buy an old tank or use one you already have then get a couple T5 HO bulbs and put those on top. Stick your plants in the bottom in pots and fill the bottom of the tank with water. Boom! Ready made terrarium! Go from there depending on what exactly you want to grow.
