Here’s a pic of my newer VFT. I’m glad it settled in its new pot well. I think the pot is too tall for me to bottom water it yet so I water it every few days. Some brown spots from feeding but overall it looks healthy!

Question, I fed it quite a large ant with wings, and the morning after it had a dark brown spot where the ant’s abdomen is, but it’s not brown on the other side of the trap. Anyone know why? Also, pretty cool and somewhat morbid but you can see where the ant tried to eat its way out of the trap.

I hope this plant lives for a long time
