Hello all
Both My Drosera Filiformis Var. Filiformis and Drosera Intermedia "Temperate" are sending up flower stalks right now, and I hope to cross 1 or 2 pods in order to get D. x Hybrida. The only problem is, I have never cross pollinated(but have researched tons on it) and I am not entirely sure how to eliminate the danger of self-pollination. I will also bring them inside right before they flower in order to prevent insects from pollinating them.
Has anyone had any experience creating x Hybrida whilst eliminating self pollination? I am pretty sure you have to remove the stamens and cross them with the different plants, but I would like an understandable explanation on how to cross self pollinating Drosera please :D
Thanks and good growing
Max
