Hi!!!

I just bought my Venus Flytrap. Near me, there is a shop selling bottled water with little sodium in it. Could I use it for my Flytraps or must I boil water, collect the steam and use it as distilled water.

Bottled water with added salts or other minerals will poison your flytrap. Depending on what the amount of dissolved solids is in the water, it could potentially kill the plant fairly quickly.

Distilled water can be purchased in the US for around $1 a gallon. You haven't entered your location on your profile, so I'm not sure where you live. If you are outside of the US, I believe that deionised water is more commonly found than distilled water.
