Forumers,i wanna know about roaches bcoz i discover some and make me confused.b4 i try chasing a roach b4 and they just ran but this roach isnt running,it flies!i usualy saw roaches run around on the ground but this one can fly.is it a different creature or species or they just the same species?if they're the same,why when i chase them they just ran and not fly?

Certain types can, some cant. So probably the ones you chased couldnt fly.

im sure that when a roach reaches maturity its wings appear and it starts flying

yep exactly right Daniel!

Sources: Experienced them myself at my house in Japan!
(I mean in like keeping eggs and crushing or feeding them to cps when they reach maturity :twisted:) :lol:

Sorry forgot to put dis in, SOME ROACH SPECIES DOESN'T GROW WINGS WHEN THEY REACH MATURITY!

wow i was right :) plus i have GOT to get some roach eggs to feed to my cps.btw i think woodlice are a pretty good meal for cps :)

Roaches have hard shells, so probably not the best idea to feed to cp's. If you just leave them outside they will catch all they need!

Some cant roaches just dont fly, its not all about how mature one is. Although most flying ones are down to maturity, and wouldnt be stupid enough to land in a flytrap.

I would only use a water trey for peat/perlite. LF[…]
