Hi,
because i have limited space on table ( depth 70cm ) and i have used bigger fan ( 33cm in diameter ), i am not able to use the design from http://www.orchideenvermehrung.at/english/index.htm
So i have decided to design my own LFH:

I think it will work soon and there will be no turbulence due different placement of the fan.
On these pictures are not shown glass "tunnel" which will be inserted and glued into the wood frame ( there cannot be any edges around the HEPA filter - Thomas & Lotta design is the bad example ).

regards

That's pretty cool, Milhaus!

Every seam in My unit was caulked with silicone inside the cabinet; the blower area and inside of the hood area. This prevented air bleed and forced the incoming dirty air to come through the prefilters only. Inside of the hood area for obvious reasons.

How deep is the working area? It needs to be as deep as possible. Too shallow and the slightest movement can reverb dirty air inside where You are working before it is forced back out. Even with Mine, I work as close to the filter as possible. It is 19" deep.

Good luck!
