I saw that two flies landed on the trap and stayed there for a few moments and then they started to move around, and the trap closed on both of them. Will the trap be able to digest both of them?

Cool that must of been fun to see...

It should be able to, as long as the trap is large enough, or any part of the fly is not sticking out of the trap.

That is awesome. Where is a video camera when you need it? It will be ok as long as the trap can seal around them. Mine caught a big moth a few weeks ago by the head and I had to take it out because half of the body was sticking out. Sometimes VFT's eyes are bigger than their stomachs.
