Hello there!

I'm looking for a fluorescent desk lamp with a descent watt for my VFT and to no avail I am struggling to find a suitable one that I can use. I live in the UK where the weather not so good at the moment considering where in summer. Any help would be very very appreciated

Hello an welcome!

It really depends on what your getting either a CFL or TFL. But the color temp has to 6500K

Yeah I'm looking for a compact flouresant light in the form of a desk lamp suitable enough to use on my VFT to grow during the bad days.

Something like this:

I found a product called an intelligent plant light

...but I don't know whether it would be strong enough and even if it was I would be unable to purchase it owing to where I live.

That should work OK for one plant, but it would be better if you could find something with similar stats but higher wattage.
